Today, we’re kicking off our 8th Annual Clean Your Closet promotion.  This is an Emerald Isle tradition that our customers look forward to every year.  When you clean your closet, bring us your rejects which we take as a donation to La Casa Women’s Shelter. Then, we give you 15% off your entire purchase toward something wonderful to jazz up your Spring Wardrobe! We think this is a win-win situation and urge you to support this cause.  Last year, we took 3 truckloads! This promotion is only good through March 31st, so get going and clean that closet, young lady!!

Charlotte Tallman was the shocked and amazed winner of our $1000 Gift Certificate that we gave away at our Annual “A Tribute to Mother” Fashion Show and Luncheon.

We are proud to announce that $411.00 was donated to Tough Enough to Wear Pink/Cowboys for Cancer Research.  These funds were the proceeds from our Annual “A Tribute to Mother” Fashion Show and Luncheon. 

A fun time was had by all…Lorenzo’s Catering did a beautiful job and all the Ladies (and one Gentleman!) were happy to hear our commentary about all of the Spring and Summer Trends we are showing in the store.

We are always asked so many questions about fashion, so we decided to address a few.  Here are several examples of what we discussed:

1. Animal Prints.  We are constantly asked when Animal Prints will be going out of style and the answer is NEVER. The trend is to look for mixed prints (Multi-Animal Prints or Animal Prints mixed with other prints like Florals).

2. Maxi Dresses.  One of our favorite new looks for this Season are Maxi Dresses.  They are called Maxi for their maximum length.  The trend is to buy them as long as you can get them and wear them in bright, fun prints for Summer. They’ll keep you looking feminine and cool.

3. White.  It’s not just white, it’s WHITE HOT!  Every season, customers ask us what is the main color of the season.  This Spring and Summer, it’s White.  Try an all-over white outfit, or pop it with Metallics (Gold or Silver).  A white jean is a must, so try a pair of Not Your Daughter’s Jeans!

Jane Gaines might be a familiar name to you.  We have carried her jewelry designs for over 3 years and she never ceases to delight and surprise us with her unique representations made from natural precious and semi-precious stones.  She always finds a new, fresh and contemporary way to bring out the best in her elements.  Her work  never disappoints!

Dennis Hogan became inspired by the timeless beauty of Native American Jewelry technique and the vivid History of the West.  Hand-molding and stamping Ingot bars of Sterling Silver, Dennis envisions modern designs while using traditional and timeless technique.  This show is especially exciting as Dennis will be showing his new “Las Cruces Collection,” featuring pieces with Three Crosses!

Sue Stevens hand-paints silk and silk velvet Scarves, Ponchos and Jackets.  She takes her inspiration from nature-whether it be the unique design of Pheasant Feathers or a beautiful Mountain Sky.  Each piece is one-0f-a-kind and is literally wearable art.
