Fall Coming in and Blowing Out…already!

We realize how unfathomable it is to think about shopping for fall clothing while it’s still so hot.  We are so lucky, however, that our customers realize that fashion is always a few months ahead of schedule and know that they need to make their selections while the sizes are in stock!

Already, we have had several wonderful “transition” shipments and we’re selling them off pretty quickly!  Don’t delay-SHOP TODAY :)

EI Dishes on the Royal Wedding Gown!

Our official weigh-in on the new Princess’ Wedding Dress…we LOVED IT!
We thought the gown was a perfect combination of modern sophistication and traditional feminism.  The sweetheart neckline of the bodice (which fit her lithe figure like a glove) was slightly edgy with a little cleavage.  However, the  intricate lace gave her gown  a softer, vintage look.   Very reminiscent of Grace Kelly.
Now, while we could see her in a slinky biased cut gown, we realize that her circumstances called for a more traditional look.  We were particularly glad, however, that the skirt wasn’t a billowing ball skirt and the train was a manageable length.
We also appreciate her choice of designer, the creative director of the late Alexander McQueen (who might be the most renowned British Designer).  Most importantly, the dress refelected Kate’s own subtle-yet-sophisticated style and she looked very confident and happy! We can’t wait to see how she will affect fashion during her reign!

Unbelievable Quantities of NEW!

Do you remember, back in February, when I said “come back in a few weeks and we’ll have so many things you won’t believe it!”  Well, it happened and it’s still happening!  EVERY SINGLE DAY we have a big stack of boxes delivered to our door!  Just in today: Conrad C, Libra, Lisse Leggings (in white!) and Lua “Rockstar Scarves.”

One example of what came in today is the Libra Striped “Kangaroo” Top.  It’s called Kangaroo because the striped panel is another layer of fabric which creates a “pouch.”  I love to wear kangaroo tops on grocery store days because I don’t have to carry in my purse!

Luna Luz!

Check out the new Luna Luz Shibori Tye Dyed Collection!

The femininity and comfort that we all love with the Luna Luz Garment Dyed Collection has been transformed with the new Shibori Tye Dyed Collection!  Shibori is a Japanese term for several methods of dyeing cloth with a pattern by binding, stitching, folding, twisting or compressing it.  Remarkable patterns are achieved and no two patterns are alike.

Luna Luz Shibori pieces come in long and short dresses or skirts.  Four styles in stock today!

What we wore for Easter…

We had such a wonderful day yesterday!  I’m so glad that the weather worked out for us…

I started out the day at Mom’s house hunting Easter Eggs with my niece, Chloe.  We found them all!  Then Paul and I were off to his sister’s house for a fabulous Brunch, then back to Mom’s for a traditional dinner!

Mom was wearing one of her favorite combos: Jams World Campshirt, Dance in Paris cami and XCVI capris!  She was bright and fun, but also very comfy.  All those lines make for easy cook “wear!”

I wore my new favorite brand ever, Dream Dance.  It is a line of dresses we started carrying last year and they are so cute and comfortable!  They offer a “maxi” dress (which is an EXTREME trend watch for this Summer).  The print I chose to wear, Red Tie Dye, looked kind of like an Easter Egg, so I went with it (see pic…no that’s not me!).

Hope you all had an equally great day!
